NASA astronaut, Spencer Armacoat
(Depp), is on a routine space shuttle mission when suddenly all contact with earth is
lost. For two minutes, mission control cannot trace him or his partner and a major
catastrophe is feared.
Then just as abruptly, contact with
the crew resumes and the shuttle lands safely back on earth. While the nation celebrates
the return of the astronauts, Spencer’s wife Jillian (Theron) senses something is
strangely amiss the moment her husband comes home.
Haunted by violent dreams, she has
