Always running, but never running out!

This April, ABC DVD are proud to present the wonderful new animated story of The Magic Pudding.

Available from 2 April, The Magic Pudding DVD is full of adventure and friendship, songs and dancing, making it an instant family classic.

Based on the illustrated stories of Norman Lindsay The Magic Pudding is the tale of Bunyip Bluegum, a splendid young koala who always believed he was an orphan. When he discovers that his parents may still be alive, he sets out on a path of adventure in order to find them.

And adventure he finds! On his travels he meets the loud and land –locked sailor Bill Barnacle and his penguin pal Sam Sawnoff and together the adventurous three form The Noble Society of Pudding Owners. Sworn to protect the irrascable cantankerous magic puddin’ named Albert from the dreadful Puddin’ Thieves, they set out to find Bunyip’s parents.

Starring the voice of John Cleese as Albert, and Australian favourites Geoffrey Rush (Bunyip Bluegum), Jack Thompson (Buncle) Sam Neill (Sam Sawnoff) and Hugo Weaving (Bill Barnacle), The Magic Pudding is a true Australian tale of friendship and adventure.

This fabulous DVD also includes a special behind-the-scenes documentary "The Baking of" The Magic Pudding, and also a full selection of songs from the movie to sing along to.

The Magic Pudding DVD is available from ABC Shops, ABC Centres and leading video retailers from 2 April, 2001 for $34.95srp*.

*Suggested retail price only. Prices among retailers may vary.
